Ministry of Health and Hitit University in 2016 on the mechanical analysis of
medical devices, Prof. Dr. İrfan Kurtbaş said the following:
“The time taken for infrastructure works,

being the only laboratory accredited by the Turkish Medicines and Medical
Devices Agency in 2018, Prof. Dr. İrfan Kurtbaş said, “It would not be right
for us to serve directly based on a single parameter. "We wanted to turn
into a laboratory that can perform all analyzes and I can say that we are
currently the most competent laboratory in Turkey on mechanical analysis of
medical devices."
Prof. Dr. İrfan Kurtbaş stated that more than 60
percent of the mechanical analysis of medical devices can be done at
international standards at HÜBTÜAM, and while he performed 1,800 analyzes in
2016, this number reached 7,300 in 2019.
Prof. Dr. İrfan Kurtbaş said, "If we hadn't done
this, some of them would go to Europe and carry out their tests."
