PIV (Particle Image Velocymeter) Laboratory

Brand / Model: Dantec Dynamics / 2D PIV

Dantec Dynamics / 2D PIV is a Particle Imaging Flow Measurement System. With 2D PIV, which can be applied to any velocity field from microscopic flows to supersonic flows: instant vectorial velocity map, streamline, vorticity, statistics and turbulence measurements and time-resolution measurements.

30 mJ double shot and 1000 Hz. Thanks to its laser that can reach up to frequency and its camera that can capture 1380 images at full resolution per second, it can respond to applications in many different areas. Thanks to the customized high performance microscope system compatible with laser and camera, it can also make time-dependent flow measurements in micro channels. The 3-Dimensional Motion mechanism provides 610 mm of movement in 3 axes (X, Y, Z).
